What they do: 

AIM is an acronym for Address Incident Management and it renders a digitally-based 9-1-1 management system. AIM was developed to shorten the comms route between the caller and the relevant call centres (i.e. 10111, 112 and corporate). This means the already distressed caller does not have to be on the phone for 30 minutes trying to call the different services.
